No Funk, No Beer

It's Bass Players Take a Nap Day!

Our Punxsutawney Phil didn't show his head,
So all you bass players back to bed,
So now you know it's all been said,
So take your basses back to bed.



So I show up to Bass Ensemble today and Bo says I'm tired. Ian will be our Punxsutawney Phil and if he doesn't show up will all go home and take naps. Ian didn't show up so here I am. Yup the reason for Bass Players Take a Nap Day is so you're not too tired to get drunk at the end of the day. So if you play the bass off to bed with you. This is a true story. I did not make this up so do it.

And if you don't play the bass then umm... you can still take a nap but know beer for you. I know that's discriminator but tough. Beer is only for those who've got the funk. So no funk, no beer. And know beer does not give you the funk. Have you ever seen a drunk person dance? No funk there.

Umm...yeah. So today's been a pretty good day. Yesterday was better. At least in essence that is. As far as quality of events goes today might have the edge right now but yesterday was Elsa and my eleven month anniversay so it couldn't not be a good day. Less than a month till our one year anniversary!

I love fall. It's a fun season. It's cool out and I have so many good memories of last fall. Windy Inn, Maize Quest, some good times bowling, Elsa and I starting to court. This fall will be fun too I'm sure although right it kind of stinks. Work and school how fun. Next weekend we'll all go to the corn maze and that will be cool and I do get to go to Windy Inn which is always fun. The one downside to Windy Inn this time is no Elsa. Take makes me much sad but it's not her fault. She can't help it if certain people's planning skills are lacking. Maybe eventually I'll forgive them for taking her away from me. It's really no one's fault, it just kind of stinks. I hate no one, what a jerk.

It's the weekend and even though I have to work a bunch that's still cool. Soon weekends will be some thing to look forward to again and that will be cool. Ok that's all I've got. Peace and grilled cheese.
