Grinding On To An End That Has No Means (Slowly But Surely) [Part 1]

It's late and so I thought I'd make a post so here it is. My band played a gig last Saturday, it was pretty sweet. Mostly it was just our friends and family who stuck around to see but all the important people were there to watch. It was outside and we played untill it was dark so all that was pretty cool. The bass drum pedal broke during my solo at the beginning of Burning Uncle Ben so I had to try to make it longer to stall while it was fixed. It's little details like that that make playing gigs fun. It was also cool because Elsa and Daniel came to see us play and Elsa drove for the first time all the way from New Jersey to Maryland, without me. Anyway that meant I didn't have to go get them, which was good because I couldn't. I think next the band needs to get started on a CD.

School has started which is both good and bad. Good because the sooner it's all over with the better bad because it's stressful. Mostly stressful on Elsa because she has five classes and work but since it's stressful on her it's stressful on me too. That's ok no one I'd rather be stressed with. In the end I'm sure it'll all be worth it. All the hard work will pay off I'm sure, or atleast that's what they keep telling me.

You know leaving this state is looking better and better by the day.

Well I guess that's about it. All and all it's about the same. Things may seem to change and change but basically they stay the same (that's kind of another Dave Matthews quote.) Ok I'm out.

P.S. The grey cat is named Dotson and is Daniel's. The black one is named Godiva and is Elsa's (and mine). They are two of the bestest cats ever. In case you all care.
