Sleepless Nights in the Garden State
Has it really been a whole week since I last posted? I guess it has. Well since then I survived another week of school, spent a weekend in New Jersey, and started yet another week of school. Only three weeks of classes and a week of exams left. Summer is so close I can't wait. Warm weather, no school and fun trips what could be better. Oh wait, I know, someone to share all those things with. Hmmm... I've got that too. As Elsa said last summer was pretty much the best ever and this one promises to be even better. I can't wait. Anyway here's what I've been up to.
My Week:
Tuesday: Lets see. I had an exam in Psychology and other than that probably didn't do a whole lot. If I did do other things I don't remember them right now. Oh well.
Wednesday: My Philosophy class was canceled so I got to come home before going to Wednesday night services at Mt. Carmel. Afterwards me and Andrew went out for coffee which was nice since we haven't done that in a while.
Thursday: I tried to register for classes but failed, went to class, worked on a paper, and started working out plans for seeing Elsa.
Friday/Saturday: I headed up to NJ with Katie to hang out with Elsa and Daniel. It was a good weekend. I think the only thing lacking from it was sleep. Yeah oops we kind of forgot to do that. Well about 2:00AM Friday night we started watching a movie and that ended around 4:30. Daniel went to bed around 5:00, Katie got a snack and finally went to bed around 5:30 or 6:00. Well me and Elsa were up and talking and around 7:00 or so we decided that the sun was up and there really wasn't any reason to goo to bed, so we didn't. It was nice. Katie and Daniel slept in so we had a chance to go for a walk and enjoy the weather just the two of us. The rest of the day was spent working on setting up a place for their new hot tub, visiting the resavoir, and going out for ice cream. Definately good times.
Sunday: Maybe not as fun as Saturday but still a good day overall. We got up around 7:00 and me and Elsa headed out the door around 7:45 to go to church at Mt. Carmel. Elsa was sick which was not fun for her and as much as she likes to make it seem like I was just putting up with her I really didn't mind taking care of her. She knows that even if she won't admit it. After going to Mt. Carmel, Southampton, and out to dinner with a few people I finally made it home to my nice warm bed around 11:30 for some much needed sleep.
Monday: Mostly just went to school and then came home. Went for a walk with my family. Actually did some jogging too which was crazy of me but at the time seemed like a good idea. My legs don't think so right now though.
Tuesday (today): Went to school and tonight I have an Electric Bass Ensemble concert.
Ok well now that I've bored you with my past week I'll shut up. That was probably written more for me than any one else. The bottom line: I had a good weekend, I can't wait for school to be over, and I'm really looking forward to the 28th. That'll be me and Elsa's six month anniversary and I can't wait. She's coming to visit and it'll be so nice. Well I think that's about it. Hope I didn't ramble too much. Later.
